Founded as a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and network security practice, our focus has broadened in the intervening years to include information and communications technology security in general. Our customers are both public and private sector including local small business who value attention to detail, cost-effective solutions and practical advice.

Byward is located in Ottawa, Ontario serving Canada's National Capital Region (NCR).

By Ward was an historic city ward in Lowertown, among those created in 1855 as Ottawa (formerly Bytown) was incorporated as a city. By Ward was adjacent to St. George's Ward (Sandy Hill) and Ottawa Ward (also Lowertown). The ward name lives on in place names such as the ByWard Market.
